Location
Set over three campuses in Perth's north-western suburbs, Newman College occupies several hectares of spacious and beautifully landscaped grounds.
The three campuses are conveniently located less than 2 kilometres apart. A short walk through Newman’s pleasant grounds is all it takes to move between Marcellin Campus (7-12) and Lavalla Campus (4-6) in Churchlands, while Marian Campus (K-3) in Floreat can be reached in less than five minutes by car from Marcellin and Lavalla.
The area is readily accessible by public transport.

Facilities and Services
Newman’s modern buildings are well-equipped to provide a comfortable and engaging learning environment for students, while the extensive amount of open space, playing fields and gardens provide students with a beautiful setting for being active or simply enjoying Perth’s glorious weather with friends during break times.
Newman students benefit from the school’s high quality facilities, which have been developed to meet the needs of all students. These include:
Sports Facilities
Students on our three campuses participate in a lively sports program that makes full use of the College’s wonderful sports facilities. These include expansive sporting fields, an 50 metre length swimming pool, multi-purpose courts, and a gymnasium and hall that also serves as a venue for school assemblies and performing arts productions.
Information Technology Resource Centre
The well equipped Information Technology
Resource Centre complements Newman’s I.T. courses, enabling students to gain experience in the latest software with strong technical support from teachers.
Libraries
The College’s well stocked libraries cater for the needs of students across the K-12 spectrum, providing students with the opportunity and resources to develop sound research skills, whilst also giving them an ideal gathering place for group discussions and study.
A new Library is currently in the process of being constructed on Marian Campus using BER funding.
Technology and Enterprise Centre
Newman’s well equipped Technology and Enterprise Centre encompasses the school’s graphic design studios, food science kitchens and materials technology workshops (woodwork, metalwork and textiles). This centre provides students with safe and pleasant learning environment in which to participate in the school’s multi-faceted co-curricular programs.
Arts Centre
The Arts are vigorously encouraged at Newman College, a commitment that is reflected in the school’s modern and functional amenities. Newman possesses purpose-built sunlit art studios and spacious music rooms, providing students with an ideal environment to pursue their interest in music and visual arts, while drama students are catered for with the school hall, which can be readily adapted for full scale productions. Newman’s junior campuses also have their own dedicated Arts spaces.
Chapel
The Champagnat Chapel and neighbouring parish Churches provide ample opportunity for Newman students to engage in private reflection and more formal liturgies.
Out of School Care
At the school’s K-3 Marian Campus, arrangements can be made for Primary students to be cared for after school between the hours of 3.00pm and 6.00pm.
Catherine McAuley Child Care in Wembley co-ordinates the after-school-care program, in which children are provided with healthy snacks while they participate in activities based on fun and safety.
Uniform Shop
Newman College operates a uniform shop onsite, which supplies new and second-hand school uniforms and second-hand books for Years 7 – 12 at reasonable prices. All profits are re-directed into the school for the benefit of the students.

Cafeteria
Newman’s fully renovated cafeteria offers students a wide choice of reasonably priced food at both recess and lunchtime.
Healthy, filling dishes like freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, focaccia and sushi are on offer at the cafeteria, as well as daily specials. Students looking for a light snack can choose from items including fresh fruit, muffins and yoghurt. A limited selection of ice creams and confectionary may be also be purchased at certain times. Fresh milk and bottled water are also available, as well as a large range of fruit juices.
Primary students are also well catered for at Marian and Lavalla campuses, with the same principle of healthy eating informing the management of the junior tuckshops.
