Two Newman Students Named in WA 16s State Football Team
Justin Geldard-Ker from Year 11 and James Garcia from Year 10 have been selected to compete in the WA 16s State Football Team following a number of outstanding match performances earlier this year. Justin and James will travel to Sydney, NSW, to compete in the first division of the NAB National 16s Championships from 4 – 11 July.
All teams in the first division will be vying for a place in the Grand Final, which will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on AFL Grand Final day, Saturday 26 September.
